Determination of MIT and CMIT in the laboratory

Why dose MIT and CMIT?

MIT and CMIT have been identified as allergens.

As a result, regulations limiting the maximum concentration to 0.01% have been put in place. These regulations aim to limit skin allergies, especially on the face and hands, which are the most common.

Thus, before putting any product in contact with the skin on the market, it is required to measure these two preservatives.
