A powder is a mixture of heterogenous solid particulates dispersed by a continuous gas phase, between which a multitude of interactions (ex. Van der Waals) take place.
Analyzing the chemical composition of a powder can be done using various techniques. Depending on the nature of a powder, different separation techniques such as GC-MS, LC-MS/MS and others such as ICP-AES, ICP-MS or the use of an Elemental Analyzer. XRD can also be used to study powder crystallinity.
However, FILAB does not just chemically analyze powders. Our techniques allow us to analyze the physical properties of your powders. FESEM is used to study the morphology, Laser granulometry can be used to measure powder size distribution and BET specific surface area.
