An additive is a chemical substance added to the composition of a material or product to improve its final properties.

Different additives are found in many fields:

- cosmetics (stabilizers, preservatives, antioxidants),
- industrial polymers and resins (plasticizers, flame retardants, antioxidant agents), paints and varnishes,

As part of product development or optimization, a regulatory change, or a failure, you may need to characterize and quantify the presence of additives in your products, with the support of a specialized laboratory.

Indeed, only a laboratory equipped with state-of-the-art analytical instruments is able to carry out additive analysis in the laboratory.
