DEACE (dimethylaminochloroethane) is an organic compound belonging to the chloroethane family. It is also known as dimethylaminoethane chloride.

DEACE is mainly used as a solvent in various industrial applications, such as organic chemistry, drug synthesis and polymer production. It is also used as a fining agent and in the production of dyes, surfactants and chemical reagents.

DEACE is a colourless to slightly yellow liquid with a characteristic odour. It is flammable and must be handled with care due to its toxic properties. Prolonged or repeated exposure to DEACE may cause skin, eye and respiratory tract irritation.
