### What is SEM?

Scanning electron microscopy is a method for analyzing the surface of several materials, including ceramics.

This technique performs the analysis of a material by a fine beam of electrons that scans the surface of the material without destruction.

### What is a ceramic material?

Ceramic materials are non-metallic and non-organic materials. They are diverse and varied and the main ones are the following:
