### What is REACH?

REACH (Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of CHemicals) is the European regulation that requires all manufacturers and importers of chemical substances, including mixtures of more than one ton per year, to register these substances with the ECHA (European Chemicals Agency).

This regulation also imposes tests to be carried out on chemical substances in order to study a certain number of properties, notably :

- information on the chemical structure
- composition
- purity
