## You wish to set up new production processes

First of all, scale-up refers to the process of scaling up a process developed in small quantities in the laboratory.

Indeed, when a need to develop a new process arises because of a production problem or to develop new products, the first step consists of the research and development of a new process in the laboratory with small quantities and in small proportions.

Once the process is developed, the next step is to implement the process on a large scale at your site.

This step is critical and can pose many problems because of the many parameters that can change during the final scale-up. Therefore, it is necessary to be accompanied by a laboratory competent in the development of new processes but also able to carry out the follow-up necessary to the implementation of new processes by scale-up.

In order to support manufacturers in the development and quality control of their products, by following the regulatory evolutions, FILAB laboratory provides a state-of-the-art analytical park of 5200m² and a competent R&D department allowing the development and implementation of new processes by scale-up.

Once the process has been developed in the laboratory, FILAB is able to go on site to assist you in the implementation of this large-scale process by scale-up.
