## FAQ

 What types of samples can be analysed?
We analyse raw or treated metal parts, organic or metallic coatings deposited on a support, or standard test coupons. The sample must be suitable for an electrochemical cell.

 Can specific environments be simulated?
Yes, the analysis can be carried out in different electrolytes (NaCl, acidic or basic media, custom solutions) to mimic your real industrial conditions.

 What is the difference with a salt spray test?
The salt spray test is a global, visual and normative ageing test (ISO 9227), while the potentiostat provides numerical and dynamic data on electrochemical behaviour. The two approaches are complementary.

 Is this a standardised method?
Yes, there are several standards governing electrochemical analysis:
