### What is Glyceryl caprylate?

Glyceryl caprylate, also known as glyceryl caprylate , is formed by transforming glycerol with caprylic acid into an ester. It is therefore a chemical compound often used in cosmetics for its emollient, moisturising and antimicrobial properties.
