Test for polymer behaviour in water according to OECD 120

You want to perform an analysis according to the OECD 120

What is the OECD 120?

First of all, OECD 120 is the application to polymers of OECD 105 concerning the solubility of a substance in water. The OECD 120 line aims to determine the dissolution-extraction behavior of polymers in aqueous medium.  The method associated with OECD 120 consists of a few modifications to the flask method described in OECD 105 to apply it to polymers.

The method is not applicable to liquid polymers or to polymers that react with water under the conditions of the experiment.

First of all, the analysis of your products according to the OECD 120 is necessary for the regulatory tests of safety and registration of chemical products.

The analysis of your polymers according to OECD 120 will indeed allow you to have access to its behavior in aqueous medium. This information can be useful from a technical point of view as well as from a safety point of view (for example at the toxicity level).

FILAB laboratory can assist you in your analysis needs according to OECD 120

In order to meet the OECD 120 criteria, the FILAB laboratory puts at your disposal the expertise of its doctors and engineers as well as its state-of-the-art analytical equipment to offer you a service of analysis of the dissolution-extraction behavior of polymers in aqueous media.
