Chemical analysis of steels: a speciality of the FILAB laboratory
Steel is a metal alloy mainly made of iron and carbon. Steel is a resistant metal with improved hardness properties and is used in many industrial sectors: construction, furniture, machining, machine tools, aeronautical parts, food packaging, etc. For more than 30 years, FILAB laboratory has been offering metallurgical analysis services on steels to several hundred customers, some of them under COFRAC ISO 17025 accreditation.
