Vitamin E or tocopherol is a fat-soluble vitamin, i.e. it is soluble in fats, just like vitamin A. Vitamin E has an anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory function and reduces oxidative stress, so it is beneficial for the body by protecting the cardiovascular system and fighting against cell aging.
Vitamin E is present in certain cereals, cosmetic products, food supplements, oilseeds (almonds, hazelnuts, sunflower seeds…) or vegetable oils. It is an important vitamin which must respect a particular dosage in order not to cause deficiency in case of too low dose or fatigue and digestive and emotional disorders in case of too high dose.
