Latent heat analysis laboratory

Your needs: perform latent heat analysis by DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimetry) on your materials

What is DSC latent heat analysis?

Latent heat changes the physical state of a material. It changes it from solid to liquid or from liquid to gas or vice versa.

DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimetry) is a thermal analysis technique. It measures the differences in heat exchange between a test sample and a control (a reference).

DSC latent heat analysis allows the determination of phase transitions in a material:

  • The glass transition temperature (Tg) of polymers, metallic glasses and ionic liquids

  • The melting and crystallisation temperature of materials

Our solutions: FILAB laboratory performs latent heat analysis

Thanks to an analytical park of more than 2,100m², the FILAB laboratory has the experience and specific means to assist industrial companies in the analysis of the latent heat of their materials. We can therefore offer you personalised support.

From the interpretation of the results to the implementation of R&D projects, FILAB offers multi-sectoral skills for several types of thermal analysis requests:
