ICP analysis laboratory for the cosmetic industry

The FILAB laboratory has 8 ICPs, including 6 ICP-AES and 2 ICP-MS in its analytical park. This chemical analysis technique enables the following services to be provided to industrialists in the cosmetics sector 

• Determination of heavy metals in finished products or cosmetic raw materials: emulsions, lotions, powders, make-up products…
• Analysis of elemental impurities in cosmetic raw materials such as mica, clays, talcs, metallic oxides, etc.
• Determination of inorganic sunscreens in sunscreen products: analysis of titanium dioxide, zinc oxide…
• Determination of active minerals by ICP such as zinc gluconate
• Analysis of nanoparticles by Single Particle ICP-MS (SP-ICP-MS)
