What is the FRAMATOME approval?
FRAMATOME is a French company in the nuclear field. A subsidiary of the EDF Group since 2018, FRAMATOME specializes in:
- the design, construction and improvement of nuclear reactors
- equipment and large components for new nuclear reactors
- design and manufacture of fuel assemblies for nuclear reactors
- maintenance services for nuclear power plants
FRAMATOME grants approval to its suppliers according to the requirements of their specifications.

For more than 20 years, FILAB laboratory has had the experience and the specific analytical equipment to support industrialists today.
The analyses performed according to Framatome approval are the following
- Metallographic tests
- Chemical analyses
