The transfer of an analytical method is a process that consists in transferring a previously validated analytical method from a sending laboratory to a receiving laboratory. It also consists in ensuring the good control and application of the method in the receiving laboratory.
During the development of a drug, it is mandatory to analyze the intermediate pharmaceutical products as well as the finished products. Thus, it is often necessary to transfer these analyses to another laboratory (internal or outsourced). In these cases, FDA guidelines require that the method be formally transferred to the new location where the testing will take place.
Whether it is from your laboratory or to your laboratory, FILAB applies customized protocols according to your analytical method transfer needs. From the specifications to the training of analysts on site, including the drafting of a clear and efficient protocol in accordance with regulatory standards, we support our clients at every stage of the process.
