What is an interlaboratory comparison test?
Interlaboratory comparison tests, also known as interlaboratory studies, are tests conducted by different laboratories for the purpose of comparing results.
This involves sending samples that are as identical as possible to the participating laboratories so that they can carry out a series of tests. The values obtained by each laboratory are then assessed and compared. Finally, the level of confidence in the results is examined.
