ICP-MS/MS is a technique identical to ICP-MS allowing a suppression of strong interferences, even in the most difficult matrices thanks to new intermediate gases. This technique also allows an even lower detection limit than a classical ICP. It even allows the determination of certain alkalis at very low limits of quantification.
