Laboratory for GPC-RI/LS coupling analysis (RALS/LALS)

Your need: define the molar mass of a polymer material

Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC) or Steric Exclusion Chromatography (SEC) is used to determine the molar mass of a polymer material.

The GPC/SEC technique can be coupled with RI (refractometer), UV (Ultraviolet-visible) and LS (Low Angle Light Scattering – LALS and Right Angle Light Scattering RALS) detectors. Thanks to these couplings it is possible to characterize a polymer material with precision.

Our solutions: analysis by GPC-RI/LS coupling (RALS/LALS)

The FILAB laboratory brings you its expertise in GPC analysis (SEC) by RI and LS coupling in order to characterize your polymer materials and determine their molar mass. In this context, FILAB offers you the following services:

Our services

  • Average molecular weight control and molar mass distribution of polymeric materials

  • Characterization of polysaccharides

  • Expertise of failure on polymers: rupture, deformation, surface...

The positive aspects of FILAB

  • A highly qualified team

  • Responsiveness in responding to and processing requests

  • A complete analytical park of 2100m²
