Your teams need training in Pyrolysis GC-MS technique
What is the principle of pyrolysis GC-MS?
The analytical technique of Pyrolysis coupled with mass spectrometry (Py-GC-MS) is a pyrolysis technique followed by gas chromatography, itself coupled with mass spectrometry (GC-MS). It makes it possible to identify and quantify the organic compounds in a sample and determine its chemical composition by breaking it down into its volatile components. These are then separated and analyzed by gas chromatography (GC) and mass spectrometry (MS).
This chemical analysis technique is based on the thermal degradation of the material, particularly polymers, copolymers, and composites that cannot, for various reasons, be analyzed directly by GC-MS. The pyrolysis-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry analytical technique (Py-GC-MS) is highly versatile and easy to use, and does not require complex sample preparation.
The physico-chemical characterization of a polymer material can be carried out by Py-GC-MS, as well as by other thermal analysis techniques such as TGA or TGA-FTIR, and DSC…
FILAB's Pyrolysis GC-MS training...

At FILAB, we develop and offer our clients only custom training courses, tailored to your industrial challenges and analytical requirements.
To register for the training or to obtain a quote, please contact us directly by email or phone.
The training will start within 3 months from the acceptance of the agreement.
Why choose FILAB for any training in analytical chemistry or materials?
The FILAB laboratory is QUALIOPI certified for its training activities.
Thanks to this certification, the training courses we provide may be eligible for funding requests from OPCOs.
Analytical training is essential for professionals seeking to master analysis and characterization techniques; indeed, it covers a wide range of techniques intended for the analysis and characterization of substances, materials, or products in various industrial sectors.
Our analytical training programs are designed to equip participants with the skills needed to excel in their field, combining rigorous theory with practical applications. Discover how our analytical training can transform your skill set within your company.
Several reasons are behind the growing number of training requests to FILAB:
