Qu'est ce que le MIT et le CMIT?

Le Méthylisothiazolinone (MIT – CAS n°2682-20-4) et Méthylchloroisothiazolinone (CMIT CAS n°26172-55-4) sont des conservateurs. Le MIT et CMIT sont, par ailleurs, également utilisés comme biocides pour lutter contre la prolifération de bactéries et champignons.
