Analysis of organic substances REACH
Your need: you wish to carry out an analysis of REACH organic substances
REACH in a nutshell
First of all, the acronym REACH (Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals) refers to the European Union’s regulation to protect human health and the environment from the risks associated with chemical substances
Why an analysis of organic substances REACH
In the EU, REACH requires manufacturers, users and importers of chemical substances, including mixtures, above one tonne per year to register these substances with the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA).
It is then necessary to submit dossiers containing information on the physico-chemical, toxicological and ecotoxicological properties of the substances, an assessment of the risks to health and the environment and the appropriate management measures.
All substances are concerned, including organic substances. This includes organic substances used in industrial processes, as well as those found in mixtures, such as in cleaning products, paints or textiles.
