You need to analyse your Procod products for PMUC analysis

First of all, the term Procod stands for “Packaging Products”. These products are used in the conditioning of the primary circuit, the secondary circuit and the auxiliary circuits, whether or not they are important for safety. FILAB carries out the analysis of Procod PMUC products through the approval or control of these products entering the plant.

The Procod products include

  • boric acid
  • hydrogen peroxide
  • zinc acetate
  • hydrogen
  • nitrogen
  • etc…

Procod products belong to family 21 of PMUC. (There are 24 families of PMUC)

They are therefore subject to particular specifications that are more restrictive than those applied to maintenance products.

As a result, Procod products are analysed for a number of reasons:

  • safety
  • environmental friendliness
  • Barrier integrity: risk of deposition and corrosion.

Therefore, the support of a competent and approved PMUC laboratory is required for Procod product analysis.

FILAB is competent to carry out the analysis of your Procod products

In order to support manufacturers in the development and quality control of their products, by following the regulatory evolutions, the FILAB laboratory provides a state-of-the-art analytical park of 2100m², allowing to carry out the analysis of Procod products for PMUC.

Indeed, the FILAB laboratory is approved by EDF for the analysis of PMUC products.
