The FILAB laboratory provides expertise on materials in France
Each material has its own characteristics whose properties will govern the performance of the final product. The criteria for choosing a material can be based on: its chemical nature, its composition, its shape (granulometry, crystallinity, morphology, etc.), its surface finish, etc.
The 4 main families of materials are :
- Metallic materials
- Organic or polymeric materials
- Mineral or ceramic materials
- And composite materials
FILAB is able to provide expertise on all of these materials thanks to its state-of-the-art analytical facilities covering 2100m².
FILAB, a recognised laboratory in France
For more than 20 years, the FILAB laboratory, renowned for its expertise in materials testing, has made its multidisciplinary experience (polymers, metallic materials, composites and ceramics) available to you for materials testing.
The quality and precision of the FILAB laboratory is recognised by COFRAC ISO 17025 accreditation. In addition, FILAB is approved by EDF to carry out PMUC materials testing. FILAB is also accredited by Safran for the analysis of powders and metallic materials for the aerospace industry.
In addition, FILAB has more than 80 employees, including engineers and PhD students. Their mission is to provide you with fast and reliable results that will enable you to really make sense of the material and take your decisions accordingly.Â
