Your needs: to identify and/or quantify residual solvents in your products using gas chromatography

As a part of your pharmaceutical or cosmetic products development, you need to identify and/or quantify residual solvents in your raw material or end product.

FILAB can help you reach your goals using gas chromatography.

Our solutions : gas chromatography tests

Gas chromatography is a method that enables to separate a mixture of several volatile and non-volatile compounds.

Thanks to this technique, the sample is heated to a high temperature and vaporized. The gas phase then flows through a very specific column then, depending on the interactions between the sample and the column, the different compounds are more or less retained. Therefore, the different compounds are separated.

At last, the compounds are analyzed with a detector (MS, MS/MS or FID) and the chromatogram is studied by our team.
