What is the process for sending samples to FILAB from abroad?
Whether you are based in the heart of Europe or in France’s major cities, the responsiveness of an analytical laboratory depends first and foremost on the quality of sample transport. At the FILAB laboratory, we support international industrial companies on a daily basis.
Are you working from Porto, Barcelona, or London? Or perhaps you manage your projects from Marseille, Toulouse, or Lyon? Here’s how to ensure smooth receipt and a fast start to your analysis at our Dijon laboratory.
A single address for all your shipments
Whatever your point of departure, all samples must be sent to our single site in Burgundy. To avoid any routing errors, always use the following address:
FILAB – Attention: [Nom du collaborateur figurant sur votre devis]
Ecoparc Dijon Bourgogne
80 rue Jean-Louis Auguste Petitjean
21850 Saint-Apollinaire
FRANCE
The essential documents to include in your parcel
To cross borders (especially from London after Brexit) or simply to make the administrative processing easier on arrival, make sure to include:
The signed quote: this is the identity card of your order. This document is essential so that we can identify your order.
The purchase order : if your signed quote serves as a purchase order, please make that clear. Don’t forget to include:
- The billing entity
- The billing address (if different from the one shown on the quote)
Safety Data Sheets (SDS): required for the safety of our teams and transport compliance.
Sample preparation and identification: the key to speed
To simplify and speed up the handling of your samples sent from abroad, we recommend:
- Clearly labeling each sample : use a clearly legible label with the product reference.
- Clearly separating the samples: pack them separately if possible, depending on their nature or intended processing.
- Specifying the analyses to be carried out for each sample : clearly indicate, on the shipping form or directly on the label, which analyses must be performed for each sample.
Good organization of your shipments allows us to process your requests efficiently and rigorously as soon as they arrive.
