Realization of crossed tests in laboratory

Industrialists of any sector, you wish to carry out crossed tests?

What is a cross-over trial?

Cross-testing, also known as inter-laboratory testing, is testing performed by different laboratories for the purpose of comparing results.

This consists of sending samples that are as identical as possible to the participating laboratories to perform a series of tests. Then, the values obtained by each laboratory are evaluated and compared. Finally, the level of confidence in the results is studied.

Why conduct cross-trials?

Cross-testing has various advantages, including:

  • Validating a test method and determining the uncertainty of the corresponding results, by determining the standard deviations of repeatability and reproducibility;
  • To determine the characteristics of a product for its use as a reference standard;
  • Evaluate the reliability of the results of the participating laboratories.
