Chlorine (Cl) is a member of the halogen family, just like fluorine or bromine. In order to anticipate corrosion, manufacturers may need to control its presence or quantity in materials (alloys, polymers…) or formulations.   

Chlorine is analyzed by Ion Chromatography (IC or CLI). This analysis by Ion Chromatography allows to characterize anions such as sulfates, chlorides, bromides or fluorides.
