First of all, precipitate formation issues in a formulation can be of various types.

Indeed, precipitation may be caused by the appearance of pollution or contamination. A precipitate may also form following a change in the chemical formulation of a product.

Precipitation may also be triggered by a change in the conditions in which the formulation is found. Changes in temperature, concentration or pH parameters can indeed cause a precipitate to form.

It is therefore necessary to precisely determine the causes of the precipitate’s formation. To do so, it is also necessary to determine the nature of the precipitate.

Consequently, resolving a precipitate issue observed in a formulation requires expertise in the analysis of environmental parameters as well as the analysis of the precipitate’s chemical composition. However, only a laboratory with state-of-the-art analytical equipment and R&D capabilities is able to implement this expertise.
