Examination of aspect by SEM in laboratory
Do you want to examine the surface appearance of your materials by SEM?
To begin with, SEM (scanning electron microscopy) is an essential electron microscopy technique for the analysis of the aspect of a material. Indeed, the studied material is scanned by a fine beam of electrons without destroying it, allowing to obtain qualitative images of the surface.
Thanks to the SEM, it is possible to study healthy and polluted surfaces, with and without defects, fracture faces, corrosion areas for a detailed analysis of materials and surfaces.
The examination of the aspect of a material by SEM, allows, first of all, to check and to adapt your manufacturing processes. Indeed, the SEM, by the quality of the image obtained at the end of the analysis, makes it possible to examine in detail the surface of the material.
In addition, electron microscopy also allows you to adapt the implementation of surface treatment or cleaning processes.
FILAB assists you in examining the appearance of your materials
For more than 20 years, FILAB laboratory has had the experience and specific analytical equipment to meet the need for SEM aspect examination on all types of materials (metallic, polymer, ceramic). Thanks to a tailor-made support, FILAB laboratory analyzes your industrial problems related to the aspect examination and advises you until the interpretation of the results.
