Your teams need training in DSC technique...
What is the principle of differential scanning calorimetry (DSC)?
From the English “Differential Scanning Calorimetry”, DSC is a thermal analysis technique. Its principle is to measure the differences in heat exchange between a sample to be analyzed and a reference sample. FILAB laboratory, DSC training provider.
In what context should a DSC analysis be carried out?
TheDSC analysis makes it possible to determine the different transition phases of a material:
- the glass transition temperature (Tg) of polymers, metallic glasses, and ionic liquids
- the melting and crystallization temperature of materials.
However, using DSC analysis (Differential Scanning Calorimetry) also makes it possible to determine the crosslinking rates of certain polymers, through reaction enthalpy measurements.
In addition, DSC calorimetric analysis in the laboratory are carried out under the flow of an inert gas (argon or nitrogen). Indeed, this method helps prevent any potential reaction between the material and the DSC furnace atmosphere.

Why choose FILAB for DSC technique training
Have you just acquired a DSC for your laboratory? Are the competent person or persons no longer part of your team? Would you like to improve your expertise in DSC analysis and the interpretation of results?
As an approved training organization, FILAB supports your teams in the use of Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) analysis technique, whatever your industry sector.
At FILAB, we develop and offer our clients only tailor-made training courses, aligned with your industrial challenges or analytical requirements.
To register for the training or to obtain a quote, please contact us directly by email or phone.
The training will start within 3 months from the acceptance of the agreement.
Why call on FILAB for any training in analytical chemistry or materials?
The FILAB laboratory is QUALIOPI certified for its training activities.
Thanks to this certification, the training courses we provide may be eligible for funding requests from OPCOs.
Analytical training is essential for professionals seeking to master analysis and characterization techniques; indeed, it covers a wide range of techniques intended for the analysis and characterization of substances, materials, or products in various industrial sectors.
Our analytical training programs are designed to equip participants with the skills needed to excel in their field, combining rigorous theory with practical applications. Discover how our analytical training can transform your skill set within your company.
Several reasons are behind the growing number of training requests to FILAB:
