You need to carry out the analysis of your Procod products as part of PMUC analysis

Procod products

First of all, the term Procod stands for “Conditioning Products”. These products contribute to the conditioning of the primary circuit, the secondary circuit, and auxiliary circuits, whether important or not for safety. FILAB carries out PMUC Procod product analysis through the approval or inspection of these products entering the plant.

Examples of Procod products include:

  • boric acid
  • hydrogen peroxide
  • zinc acetate
  • hydrogen
  • nitrogen
  • etc…

Procod products belong to PMUC family 21.PMUC. (There are 24 PMUC families)

They are therefore subject to specific requirements that are more restrictive than those applied to maintenance products.

As a result, Procod product analysis serves several purposes:

  • safety
  • environmental compliance
  • barrier integrity: risks of deposition and corrosion.

Therefore, the support of a competent and approved laboratory for PMUC analysis is necessary for the analysis of Procod products.

FILAB is qualified to carry out the analysis of your Procod products

In order to support manufacturers in the development and quality control of their products, while keeping pace with regulatory changes, the FILAB laboratory provides a state-of-the-art analytical facility spanning 5,200 m², making it possible to carry out Procod product analysis for PMUC.

Indeed, the FILAB laboratory is approved by EDF for PMUC product analysis.
