Chemical analysis laboratory to meet RCC-M requirements

Chemical analysis Problem solving R&D support

Your needs: carry out chemical analysis to meet RCC-M requirements

What is the RCC-M code?

RCC-M is the French code that defines the Design and Construction Rules for Mechanical Components of PWR nuclear islands. It is a set of French technical standards governing the design, manufacture, and maintenance of mechanical components for pressurized water nuclear reactors (PWRs).

It is mainly used by the nuclear industry to ensure the safety and reliability of equipment exposed to extreme conditions.

Why carry out chemical analysis to meet RCC-M requirements?

If you are responsible for manufacturing or modifying equipment intended for use in a nuclear power plant in accordance with RCC-M, you need to analyze the chloride, fluoride, and sulfide content in your products, as specified in RCC-M Appendix V.

Indeed, these corrosion precursors are strictly controlled for any material entering a nuclear power plant.

analysis can also be carried out by combustion, leaching, or by ion chromatography (IC/CIC).

The FILAB laboratory supports you with chemical analysis to meet RCC-M requirements

Why choose FILAB for your chemical analysis according to RCC-M?

FILAB laboratory’s expertise in the energy and nuclear sectors contributes to the development of your industrial projects in inspection, optimization, and consulting related to your activity.

For many years, FILAB laboratory has been approved by EDF to carry out the analysis required for PMUC approval and PMUC inspections.

From design to implementation of your installations, FILAB supports you in assessing their compliance with RCC-M requirements.
